Andres Markus is a sound explorer & artist, producer and educator from Buenos Aires, based in Berlin.

He works with different fields: live performances, music direction/production, sound curation, mixing.

From the perspective of people who categorize music by genres and types, Andres Markus, working under his production moniker Montuno, has created lots of different kinds of sounds over the past years. If you had listened closely to Andres´output, you know that separating and classifying the work is actually contrary to the energy of Montuno´s music. 

He´s also co-producing `Àfter Bobby Williams´´, an experimental electronic duo that blends ambient, dub and broken beats, and has released their first EP in Antinote Records (Paris)

Either as a session musician for touring artists, playing live sets, or assisting in live sound, has held music collaborations across US, Mexico, Spain, Greece, Germany, Poland, Argentina.

As an educator rooted in his southamerican heritage, brings his expertise in rhythm and music production to provide dynamic workshops and facilitate creative process in youngs and adults, collaborating with NGO´s with music workshop´s & private classes at his studio in HB55 Kunstfabrik. Berlin.
